B&B le Vigne in Firenzuola in Mugello

The B&B LE VIGNE stands in the centre of an old hamlet, named CASANUOVA in 1338, as witnessed by a list of routes in the "DISTRICT OF THE SANGALLO ROAD TO SAN PIERO A SIEVE" outlined for the purpose of recording the relation between trade and hospitality-related activities. The hamlet, which stands on the north-facing hillside of Castel Guerrino, has very ancient origins. Few inhabitants populate the arch-shaped line of houses along via delle Vigne and La Greta.

In the area called La Greta, at a slightly higher level, the church of San Michele towers over the farm estates (Casabogi, La Greta, Le Ceppe etc.)

How to reach us

To reach us follow the following directions

FROM THE NORTH ALONG THE A1 HIGHWAY, EXIT AT RONCOBILACCIO

  • Proceed in the direction of La Futa Pass
  • Once at the La Futa Pass follow indications for Firenzuola
  • In Firenzuola, Porta Fiorentina, you will find signs to B&B LE VIGNE. Turn right and follow indications for Frazione Casanova. At some 4,5 Km you will find the crossroads for Casanova. Go ahead for approximately 1 Km until you see a church: do not pass it, instead take the first right. You have now arrived at B&B LE VIGNE, the entrance of which is just a couple of metres away to the right.

FROM THE SOUTH A1 EXIT BARBERINO DI MUGELLO:

  • Proceed in the direction of Scarperia
  • Out of the village take the state road SS503/ SP 503 towards Firenzuola; you will pass Ponzalla, Passo del Giogo, Barco and Rifredo; turn left at the crossroads for Casanova. Go ahead for approximately 1 Km until you see a church: do not pass it, instead take the first right. You have now arrived at B&B LE VIGNE, the entrance of which is just a couple of metres to the right.

FROM FLORENCE AND BOLOGNA AIRPORTS:

  • Out of the airport, follow the green signs indicating the A1 highway (from Florence take the A1 towards Bologna) (from Bologna take the A1 towards Florence) then proceed as indicated above.
